Loving this pomo! It really helps not having my phone out or other browser windows open on my computer.

I would love an option to set how many pomos are in a session.  Sometimes I only need two or three.  Would also like a way to skip breaks because sometimes I forget to hit the A button to start the break time lol.

glad you're enjoying it! skip breaks by cranking :)

I'll consider adjusting the amount of Pomodoros, but I'd envisioned cranking through any remaining pomos once you're finished - adjusting the amount adds some interesting design questions I'd need to think about solving.

thank you for using it β™₯οΈπŸ…

I had no idea I could skip with the crank, that's awesome!  Thanks Pip

Thanks so much for this! I usually use my iPhone as a pomo timer but I'd prefer not to. I always keep my Playdate propped up in the groove at the top of my keyboard as a clock (and because it looks nice). I was messing around with it today and was about to make a pomo timer for the Playdate but had the foresight to google it first and found yours. Really well made. Nice work and thank you!

so glad to hear you've found it useful! πŸ…

I really love this app and came to rely on its simplicity, but after the last Playdate system update, each time I try to open this app my Playdate crashes.  Any help?

Same issue here

I'm so sorry to hear this! I'll look at updating it today πŸ…

Hi both - I've updated Pomodoro. to SDK 2.6.2, let me know if this fixes your issues! πŸ…

Same error still, unfortunately :( Here’s the error my Playdate is spitting out.

components/textSprite.lua:36: invalid bitmap size: 3x0
stack traceback:
  [C]: in field 'new'
  components/textSprite.lua:36: in method 'updateText'
  components:textSprite.lua:17: in field 'init'

  roomy-playdate.lua:140: in method 'emit'

Hope that helps!

So strange! Can you let me know what firmware version your playdate is on too please? I'll try to look at this next week when I'm back home. πŸ…

Oh wait, my mistake! I forgot to update to the latest firmware, it works fine now! Sorry for any confusion.

Surprisingly this silly handheld just became one of my best productivity tools.

I'm glad you found pomodoro useful! πŸ…

Hello, I really enjoy your application, but I've noticed that the alert volume is quite low, which often causes me to miss the time cues. I've tried replacing the audio files, but the volume remains low. I hope you could adjust it. Thank you.

heya, afraid the volume is as high as I could get it without switching to different sfx - the kalimba synth I use just doesn't seem to want to go louder without having a tonne of distortion.

I'll consider adding an option to switch to different sfx which may be able to reach a higher volume level :) πŸ…

Looking forward to your update.

I've uploaded a new version of Pomodoro, where you can choose between "calm" and "alert" sfx options in the pause menu. Hopefully this helps! πŸ…

Very helpful!

glad you found it so! :) πŸ
